You improvise on every call.
You tell your story differently every time.
You wonder whether your content is actually working.
And you watch your people scroll on past.
Frustrating, isn’t it?
You've defined what you do. Now let's define who you are.

olo who?
I'm Crystal Nunn, founder of olo bottega, a narrative-led brand strategy and design studio based in London.
As someone with AuDHD, I have the mind of a scientist and the heart of an artist. Sitting in boxes was never an option. I am equally fascinated with the mechanics of how things work, and the craft of how things are built.
I help vision-led founders turn the strange, specific, emotionally charged truth of their work into brands people can understand, remember, trust, and belong to.
I've spent the last 15 years in design, art direction and brand, with years spent alongside worldbuilders in film and animation, building my own methodology from painstakingly studying what makes stories resonate with audiences.
I built olo bottega precisely for the brands that have real depth and need help articulating what they do, and more importantly, why they do it.
What does olo bottega mean?

A mix of Finnish (olo) and Italian (bottega) that translates to "workshop of feeling".
Fun fact
In 2025, scientists at Berkeley discovered an invisible colour that could only be seen under specific conditions. They named it "olo", from the binary "010", a nod to the biology of the eye: of your three colour cones, only the middle one is triggered, which never happens in everyday sight. A highly saturated blue-green. This is why olo has a home in my own colour palette.
Happy Collaborators
Crystal has a brilliant understanding of brand identity which she has applied to the branding of Jellyfish as a company and to our individual productions. Highly recommended!
